Whatta fabu-lous-soooo summer we had!!! Hence the absence of blogging! We went and did a ton of stuff, we enjoyed nature, we enjoyed friends and family, we stayed up late and woke up later. This summer meant a lot to me, and I think to my kiddos. Now we are back to reality of life. And school! The kids are ALL doing good, which has been a big relief to me. They have wonderful teachers, and friends. SO life is good at the moment! :)

Clarification!

Ok, I missed some details with getting it out of my head and onto the computer. Firstly, My dad AND Carol gave me my new bike. Which I LOVE solo much! Thanks you guys, and the bike that came for Mr. Nate's b-day also came from BOTH of them. Everyone knows of my love for this sweet lady, who has been gently ease my dad into grandpahood. I am so happy to have this angel from the heavens in our family. My kids are as much in love with Gran Carol as I am. I feel like a real idiot that I messed up in getting it all posted! I will have a picture soon of Carol, I took one last weekend at her son Aaron's wedding, but the sun was blazing and eyes were closed so I am waiting until I get a great pic of the two of them so you can all see who we talk about all the time. Anyways, THANKS Carol and dad for being so generous with me and my family. I love you both!!!Lots!!!!

Congrats!

My sister-in-law Steph, lover of black, is having a baby!!!! Yeah! I am so happy for them. They deserve all the happiness in the world as they welcome baby number 3! She finally broke down and told us last night. So Congratulations! She never did buy a color dress-but I think I can let her off the hook for now. She has better things to think about than dresses. Any ways I am so excited Steph! We love YA! Thanks to my neice Hadley for telling us-I owe her!

It happens to the best of us!

Another amazing event that we had this weekend was, our nephew Bridger was baptized! We are soo proud of him. It takes courage and strength to find the gospel at an older age, and Bridger has both. Our families prayers were answered when he recieved a testimony and was baptised. It was one of the most spiritual events I have been too. What a blessing it was to be there and share this with him. It makes me wish that I could remember my own baptism, if any of you out there can, please leave me a comment about what you recall. It would mean a lot to me. Anyhow Bridger I love ya and I admire your courage. This will bless many.

The Birthday Boy!

Well my little man turned 9 on August 15th! I cannot believe it! He is a wonderful kid and I am very proud of him. He makes good choices and helps me a lot with the girls. I admire his intelligence and kindness. For his present from my dad and Carol he got a NEW BICYCLE! We are kind of having a bike kind of year, but it is an awesome red mongoose bike. Thanks you guys, for being so generous. We got him Legos, his favorite thing in this world next to the WII, and all in all I think he had a really great day! Nate, I love ya and you are awesome!

Say What?

Yes, with the Olympics come LOTS and LOTS of stupid comments. Soo funny, so i was thinking that if you out there hear anything that sticks in your mind, leave me a comment about it and we can laugh together. Some funny ones I heard "You have to let them beat you to win" and "If she came here to win she better start showing it" wow! It amazes me that these newscasters even have jobs with comments like that. I personally believe that ALL of the competitors came to win hence the name "Olympics" and I bet they all are trying to WIN-anyways leave me your thoughts and we can blog about this!

I have a cute little sister-in-law,who had a birthday on Saturday! Happy Birthday Steph! We had a family reunion that morning and she said that her and her hubby were going shopping for a present. She mentioned that most likely the gift would be a new dress. Well I am always glad to hear that shopping is going on, BUT my sweet little sister-in-law always buys BLACK! I do love black myself but I think that she would look sososososo cute in a color dress. And I don't think that she ever buys color dresses. So I asked Steve to try and not buy her black. He said that he would do his best-I still haven't heard on the verdict. SO Steph if you did get one with color I would love to know, and if not than I will keep this on my blog until that all important step is taken. We can embrace color. It is our friend! Don't be afraid! Let me know. Anyone who knows the color of the dress please comment and help me out. I will get to the bottom of this but any help would be appreciated! I love ya Steph!

Enjoy our 5k Pics!
